Our journey began in 2022, when Kate Williams-Whitley—then Vice President of Research and Learning at one of the world’s largest humanitarian nonprofits—was invited to launch a new research initiative within Excellence in Giving. Kate had built trusted evaluation systems that delivered the kind of rigorous, actionable insights the development sector was looking for—insights that helped leadership teams refine programs and gave funders confidence that their generosity was making a meaningful difference.

That shared vision grew into EIG Insights, a fast-growing effort to help organizations define clear outcomes, assess effectiveness, and craft data-informed stories that inspire trust and generosity. As the work expanded, so did the need for a clear, independent identity—one that could offer rigorous, unbiased evaluation while still remaining informed by the realities of donor expectations. With the support of Excellence in Giving’s leadership and a continued appreciation for the advisory lens that shaped its early work, we formally established Radiant Global Insights as an independent firm—uniquely positioned to generate insight that serves both program excellence and donor confidence.

The name Radiant Global Insights was chosen with purpose.
